Toul Tom Pong

The Knight Frank Guide to Toul Tom Poung

As one of the capital’s rising stars, Toul Tom Poung is a neighborhood that has exploded in popularity with expatriates in recent years. Home to Russian Market, the area has witnessed a huge transformation, with cafes, bars, restaurants and stores mushrooming in the last two years, with a swathe of accommodation and homes to rent to cater to the growing interest being developed.

As prices in the popular Boeung Keng Kang 1 (BKK1) area started to spiral, an increasing number of expatriates and businesses relocated to other areas where prices are more affordable. Toul Tom Poung is one commune that has benefited from this exodus.

And the best part is, the Toul Tom Poung neighborhood has managed to retain its unique charm, with quiet back roads dotted with quirky boutique stores, independent coffee shops, gyms, an indoor climbing center and a collection of diners serving up food from all corners of the globe.

The area is also home to several international schools, medical centres and supermarkets, making it an increasingly sought-after location for families and young professionals looking for homes to rent in Phnom Penh.
